Montecatini Golf is a magnificient 18-hole course laid on the Tuscan hills behind the ancient village of Montevettolini, 8 kilometres from the Hotel.
The track of almost 6,000 meters is complex and challenging, very rough, with natural water obstacles that threaten the game in at least five of the eighteen holes. Other natural obstacles are valleys, vegetation of tall trees, and some out of bounds that can worry.
The most difficult holes are the 3, a par 4 dog-leg on the left with water immediately on the right and three bunkers in the center on the first shot; the 5, par 3 downhill with lake on the left and moat on the right; the 10, par 4 with a challenging start above a lake.
ACCOMMODATION:
Surrounded by its 18-holes golf course, the Foresteria is only 10-minutes drive from Monsummano Terme. It offers a bar, a restaurant, a garden and an outdoor pool.
The air-conditioned rooms come with free Wi-Fi, a safe and satellite TV. The private bathroom comes with a bath or shower, bidet and hairdryer.
You can start your day with a breakfast buffet in the breakfast room, including fragrant coffee or cappuccino, sweet pastries and savory snacks. Also recommended are the classic national and traditional Tuscan dishes offered by the restaurant.
The Foresteria is only 20-minutes drive from Lucca, 60 km from Florence and a 30-minute drive from Pistoia.

Montecatini Golf Club is a 18 hole par 72 course; it measures 5857 square metres and features lakes, streams, forests and ditches making it a great test of golf. The Golf Club lies in the heart of Tuscany between the coast of Versilia and the magnificent cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa. The golf course is situated in a hilly area with holes made more appealing by both their technical difficulty and their beautiful scenery. The first nine holes feature olive trees that mark out the gentle fairways and the boundary of the course, while the second nine feature the beautiful colours and perfumes of the Mediterranean scrub made up of heather, broom and laurel. Two lakes included on the course make it all the more challenging.
